Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort is home to so many great places to find delicious food. The Norway pavilion is no exception, as it includes Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. We stopped in to get an updated review of the location.

Guests are treated to a high-class experience from the moment they enter Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The theming is a winner here, as families dine in a medieval castle with stunning cathedral ceilings and archways. Princesses rotate and make time for wonderful guest interactions and pictures. We can’t guarantee a certain number of princesses per visit, but we were delighted to meet Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and even Tiana (huge bonus)!

While the restaurant serves meals at all times of day, we really like the breakfast at this location. It is a great option for picky eaters, whereas lunch and dinner could be a little adventurous. Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM – 12:10 PM, making it perfect for those who like to sleep in a bit before getting the day started.

Breakfast is served on platters that include scrambled eggs, potato casserole, pastries Norwegian waffles, bacon, sausage, and mixed fruit. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the offerings, but the Norwegian waffles were definitely our favorites. The meal is also served family-style, which means that you can order more (and more) of whatever food you like and cast members will bring it right to you. It’s basically a buffet without ever having to leave your table. The family won’t miss out on any of those coveted princess interactions!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall runs on a pre fixe menu, so you pay one set price per person to dine on all offerings. Cost varies by meal, with breakfast prices are usually around:

  • $53 plus tax and gratuity per adult (ages 10 and up)

  • $34 plus tax and gratuity per child (ages 3-9)

Don’t wait to book your unique dining experience at this popular location! Reservations are required for Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, and they tend to fill up quickly. Contact your TTC travel advisor for more information and a free no-obligation quote.
