Dining Plans, Holiday Events, Hotels and More!

The Walt Disney World Resort® is bouncing back in a major way, and we can say that the back half of the year will be nothing short of MAGICAL. Let's dig in to the latest news that has us excited!

1. Return of Disney Dining Plans

We're starting this off with BIG news: the Disney Dining Plan will be returning soon! While we do NOT have a specific return date announced yet, it's so close we can taste it. The Disney Dining Plan offers multiple different pre-paid packages for guests to choose from. Once purchased you will receive credits for snacks, quick service meals and/or table service meals linked to your account. Use these credits in the parks and resorts for convenient, money-saving tastiness.

2. Hotels Reopening Soon

Also returning soon are some of your favorite Walt Disney World resorts. Check the list below to find when you can return "home" for your next stay:

  • Disney's All-Star Music (September 16, 2021)

  • Disney's Port Orleans Riverside (October 14, 2021)

  • Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter (October 28, 2021)

  • Disney's All Star Sports (December 9, 2021)

Reservations for these resorts can be made now! And if you have already booked but would like to switch over to one, that can be arranged as well (based on availability). Your TTC travel advisor would be more than happy to check into that for you.

3. After Hours Christmas Party Fun

Continuing on our run of returning favorites, prepare for Christmas in Orlando! Walt Disney World will be proudly presenting a brand new Magic Kingdom Christmas Party: "Disney Very Merriest After Hours Event". This extra ticketed exclusive event will run on select nights from Nov. 8 through Dec. 21. The party will begin at 9 PM and last until 1 AM, allowing guests with a ticket to arrive as early as 7 PM. Included will be shorter lines to 20 select attractions in the park as well as free treats included with ticket purchases (unlimited hot cocoa, cookies, and more!) Guests will also be dazzled with holiday decorations and a special fireworks show: "Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks". Oh and be on the lookout; it may even snow down Main Street USA!

Tickets for "Disney Very Merriest After Hours" go on sale in August, with guests staying at select Walt Disney World resorts getting first chance to book. Contact your TTC travel advisor and have them prepared to reserve your tickets as soon as they go on sale. We expect these dates to fill up quickly, so don't miss out on the Most Wonderful Time...to Wear Ears.

4. Boo Bash Update

Speaking of after hours fun, there are still opportunities to scare up some extra magic on your upcoming trip. Magic Kingdom's Boo Bash will be held on select nights beginning August 10th. Most October dates are sold out, but there are openings on many August and September dates. It's never too early for a spooky fun time; ask about availability for your trip today!

5. Extra Hours of Magic

Disney recently announced the return of "magic hours"! More information will be released later, but it will likely begin on October 1st. Guests staying at onsite resort hotels will have access to an early hour in the morning, with deluxe resort hotel guests also having extra time at night.
