Disney's Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower

Disney's Coronado Springs is a lakeside moderate resort themed around the American Southwest blended with Spanish and Mexican culture. An overall unique resort, one specific area stands out above the rest: Gran Destino Tower.

Gran Destino Tower opened in 2019 as Coronado Springs' newest addition. While it is a part of the resort, the tower brings a whole different feel along with it. From the outside it looks like something straight out of Las Vegas (especially when the lights come on at night). Inside, the lobby stuns visitors with a gorgeous dangling chandelier and stained-glass wall. Rooms are very clean and spacious with terrific views of the surrounding property. Decorations here are more elegant and adult-driven with subtle Disney accents. The tower gives a deluxe resort feel for moderate resort prices.

Guests staying at Gran Destino Tower also have access to the rest of the Coronado Springs pleasures. For relaxation you may consider the resort's spa/salon for massages, facials, and hair and nail services. There are also three leisure pools placed around the resort offering peace and quiet. If you want to be a part of the action, The Dig Site is where it's happening. This area is fully alive for an exciting fun time. The main attraction at The Dig Site is the Lost City of Cibola pool. This pool is Mayan themed with an actual 50-foot pyramid cascading water as families enjoy a swim. Little ones are sure to love whizzing down the 123-foot long slide into the water below. The Dig Site also comes equipped with a playground, arcade room, splash pad, and the largest hot tub in Disney World! This is a great spot for family-friendly resort fun.

Transportation from Gran Destino Tower to anywhere on Disney property can be found through Disney World's bus service. Located right outside of the tower, these complimentary buses will transport you to and from any of the theme parks, water parks, or to Disney Springs. As an added bonus, both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Winter Summerland miniature golf course are in walking distance if you're up for an adventure!

The Gran Destino Tower is no slouch when it comes to dining. Toledo-Tapas, Steak and Seafood is fine dining that offers a unique experience. The restaurant is located at the very top of the tower and includes breathtaking views while you eat! Another good and affordable option is available a short walk from Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. Maya Grill cooks up traditional Mexican and American dishes to please all palates as live music sets the tone for an enjoyable meal. With even more dining options around the resort, guests don't have to stray far to find delicious food.

Disney's Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower is a great vacation spot for families and couples alike. Various food and fun possibilities give plenty to do from the comfort of the resort. Contact a TTC travel advisor for more information and a free no-obligation quote.
