The annual Festival of Mardi Gras is returning with a bang, and it's bringing back some past favorites missing at last year's offering. Universal will resurrect their spectacular parade that includes authentic floats equipped with krewes tossing beads to the masses. Every day feels like Mardi Gras as the massive "King Gator" float winds through the streets of Universal Studios.
Live concerts will also be returning to the ranks this year after missing last season. Experience some of today's biggest names as they perform on the Music Plaza Stage. These concerts are select nights only, so check with your TTC travel advisor for a lineup schedule.
Universal Studios will be lined with many more festive offerings to be enjoyed. Jazz tunes ring through the park as costumed street performers add a colorful flair to the season. The Beat Builders change their tune to perform Jazz classics. Pop inside the Mardi Gras Tribute Store to be immersed in the season's festive traditions. Out in the streets you will find various food booths including New Orleans favorites such as crawfish, shrimp, and beignets. There will also be culinary delights from around the world to sample while you take in the atmosphere.
