Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Planning a family vacation involves lots of scheming in order to maximize fun for everyone. This includes organizing access to as many enjoyable opportunities as possible. At Universal Orlando, theme parks never lack a good time. But what about when the family is not in the parks? Universal has got you covered there too, with an affordable and unique resort.

Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a retro-style hotel inspired by Florida beach hot spots of the 1950s and 1960s. This vibrant resort offers a classic good time along with absolute cleanliness and incredibly helpful staff! Standard rooms start at $132 per night and sleep up to four guests. Family suites are also available, starting at $172 per night and sleeping up to six guests.

Cabana Bay excels with its unique amenities. The huge pool area is split into two sections. Each section includes its own pool and distinctive features. The Cabana Courtyard pool includes a dive-tower themed water slide, a poolside bar, cabanas for rent, shaded picnic tables, and a large fire pit. The Lazy River Courtyard Pool features a winding lazy river, a real sand beach, a poolside bar and grill, two fire pits and lots of relaxing outdoor seating. Guests at both pools can also join in on some poolside activities such as hula-hoop and splash contests. Choose a side and let the fun begin!

After the water-soaked thrills have come to an end, guests may be looking for a dry evening of fun. Here's the best part: there is no need to leave the hotel to find it. Cabana Bay offers its very own bowling alley, Galaxy Bowl, for guests to strike up a good time! Galaxy Bowl is complete with a table service restaurant and full bar adding to the experience on the lanes.

Cabana Bay is far more than a hotel filled with action. There is also a variety of dining options available for guests. Bayliner Diner headlines the hotel. This food court offers an assortment of food options to satisfy all palates. Throughout the rest of the resort, guests can find convenient meals suiting their vibe and activity. Want to enjoy a quick meal at the pool? Hideaway Bar and Grille and Atomic Tonic are placed steps away from their corresponding pools. Bowling up an appetite? Galaxy Bowl Restaurant serves up American favorites to eat between frames. Too worn out to search for food? Delizioso Pizza will have pizza, salads and desserts delivered directly to your room! There is literally no area of this resort that lacks dining possibilities! The lobby is also home to Starbucks for an energy boost and Swizzle Lounge for more adult beverages and snacks.

Listed as a prime value resort, Cabana Bay comes with perks for all guests who stay there. The biggest perk is early entry into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Resort guests are allowed entry to the parks a full hour before they open to others. Another nice perk of staying at Cabana Bay is a walking path that takes guests right up to the gates of the parks. This eliminates the need to wait for transportation. Those preferring to ride to their destination can also take advantage of Universal Orlando's complimentary bus service.

Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a great option for families. Unique features, bunches of food options, and affordable rooms make it a perfect addition to an Orlando vacation. Contact a TTC travel advisor for more information and a free no-obligation quote.
